1. How do the following radio station types get money to continue transmitting:

d. How could this affect their content (what they decide to put to air)?
2. How do the TV stations get the ratings for their shows? How do they know how many people are watching each program?
3. What are the different content classifications used for TV programmes (G, PG, M etc)? How do they act as a guide to what the program will contain?
4. What is the Australian Broadcasting Authority? What is their role?
5. What is meant by “Australian Content” on TV and radio? How much Australian content is required by law?
6. How is they TV day structured? Who do the stations program for at different times of the day? Is it different for commercial, community and government owned stations?
7. How is a TV station run? Who decides what gets shown? How do they buy the things they show?
8. Who owns which TV Station? What other media companies do they own (newspapers, magazines, radio, etc)?
9. What sort of programs do the TV stations import from overseas? What do they make themselves?
